Self-led Educational Resource

This resource is a self-led trail for school groups to complete as they explore Wild Place Project.

It is designed for years 5, 6 and 7. It may also be suitable for homeschools and other educational groups.

We recommend that teachers use a familiarisation visit to have a go at the trail before bringing a group - please mention when booking.

To take part, please read the information below, download the PDF and book your school visit to Wild Place Project.

Zookeeper Escape

All the keepers at Wild Place have been accidentally locked in a room! - We need YOU to look after the animals! As your group completes the tasks, you will find four numbers. These numbers are the code for the door to let the keepers out.

The four tasks can be completed in any order. At each location, a ‘Behind the Scenes’ board will give you all the information you need to complete the task, plus the answers to some extension questions about adaptation.

At the fifth and final board, you will need to put in the four numbers in the right order to open the lock...
