About Wild Place Project
PLEASE NOTE: In line with Government Guidance, due to the second national lockdown, we have closed our doors to visitors from closing time on Wednesday 4 November. Please see our updates page for the latest information.
Wild Place Project is a fun family attraction that provides outdoor adventure, play and learning. Meet amazing animals from across the world from the mischievous lemurs of Madagascar to magnificent European brown bears.
Our vision is to create a sustainable future for wildlife and people through our conservation and education work.
We aim to inspire families to enjoy nature with a number of outdoor adventures, from discovering wildlife from the UK and around the world with our seasonal themed trails, to exploring the woods and clambering in the undercover Fun Fort. Or simply enjoy a great range of hot food and drinks in our quaint guest village.
Wild Place Project was opened by the Bristol Zoological Society
with an emphasis on protecting threatened habitats on our doorsteps and around the globe.
