Last updated: Saturday 29 August.
PLEASE NOTE: Following damage from high winds experienced across site on Tuesday 25 August, we made the decision to close for the day on Wednesday 26 August. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused. If you had booked a visit for Wednesday, please bear with us - our team will be in touch.
We are open today.
Some areas remain closed at Wild Place Project. This is because it is impossible to maintain social distancing at present in those locations, or because they include, by their nature, multiple high-frequency touch points.
- Giraffe House – the ground level outside viewing area is still accessible
- Lemur Walkthrough – the viewing areas remain accessible
- Bear viewing den in Bear Wood
- Barefoot trail
- All playgrounds
- Indoor eating areas – takeaway only is available at this time
- Bird hides and huts
Some benches, and interactive displays, are not in use.
We will only reopen these areas when it is deemed safe to do so, and will ensure that all updates are provided on this page - so please check back.
PLEASE NOTE: last entry to Bear Wood is 4pm & the park closes at 5pm.
