Volunteering

Volunteering at Wild Place Project is a fantastic way to learn new skills and meet new people while helping us spread conservation awareness in a fun and inspiring environment.

As well as our wonderful animal collection we are lucky enough to have large amounts of untouched land and beautiful gardens, including an area of protected British Ancient Woodland.

Wild Place Project is looking for friendly individuals who love being outdoors and can encourage visitors to become more interested in our habitats, conservation and amazing animals, while helping them to have a great day out at our visitor attraction.

Our roles are varied and all require different levels of commitment or flexibility. Please read the role profiles to find which one would suit you best.

You need to be aged 18 or over and there’s no upper age limit. Please note we carry out Disclosure Barring Service checks for all volunteers.  There is no cost to volunteers.

Please note that we may ask for references as part of the application process.

To apply or find out more, please take a look at our volunteer roles.
