Volunteering at Wild Place Project is a fantastic way to learn new skills and meet new people while helping us spread conservation awareness in a fun and inspiring environment, surrounded by like-minded people.
As well as our wonderful animal collection we are lucky enough to have large amounts of untouched land and beautiful gardens, including an area of protected British Ancient Woodland. We also have many activities and special events running throughout the year so there are lots of ways to be involved and help us to save wildlife together!
Wild Place Project is looking for hands on, chatty and outgoing individuals who love being outdoors and can encourage visitors to become more interested in our habitats, conservation and amazing animals, while helping them to have a great day out at our developing guest attraction.
All we ask is that you are available for a regular day each week including school and bank holiday periods, and that you can be with us for at least 6 months.
You need to be aged 18 or over and there’s no upper age limit. References may be applied for.
For all of our volunteer roles, we require you to be able to volunteer unsupervised and independently under the direction of one of the sections at Wild Place Project.
