One of the best-loved family adventures of all time is coming to Wild Place Project this summer.

The musical of Wind in the Willows is being performed for one-night only on Saturday August 19 at the attraction’s Tower Meadow.

All the characters from Kenneth Graeme’s classic tale including Ratty, Mole, Badger and the irrepressible Toad will be brought to life by the Immersion Theatre Company.

There will be eye-catching costumes, toe-tapping music and a promise that the youngest members of the audience to the oldest will all be swept up by this enchanting production.

Wild Place Project will be open to ticket holders from 3pm so they can wander around the grounds, see the giraffe, zebras, gelada baboons, meerkats, lemurs, okapi and wolves and enjoy the woods before settling down in Tower Meadow for the start of the performance at 6pm.

Nigel Simpson, operations manager at Wild Place Project, said: “This is a perfect summer treat for all the family. It’s a timeless story in a unique setting that everyone will enjoy.”
